Dear collegues,
As a professional association with a direct or auxiliary interest in the
profession of project management, I want to inform you about the current PMI
project to update the PMI Standard - A Guide to the Project Management Body
of Knowledge (PMBOKR Guide-Third Edition).

As part of PMI's Standards Setting Policy and Procedure, the proposed
updated document has been posted on PMI's website for interested parties as
an "Exposure Draft" for review and recommendations.

During the exposure draft period, PMI is soliciting recommendations in
accord with its established protocols. PMI would like to welcome the
members of your association to review this document and make recommendations
in the same manner in which we are seeking input from our own members. The
deadline for receipt of comments is 5:00 p.m. Eastern USA on 9 January 2004.
